I need help getting a Marine Dress Blue Uniform?
Okay I know that there is going to be a lot of folks that say “join the Marines” but here is the thing, I work in Film and I need a Marine Dress Blue Uniform for a VERY respectible VERY honorable shoot. I know they are reallyl tailored to the person but I can get that fixed if it is in the right range. Can anyone please help me?
You can get a uniform two ways – either connect with a U.S. Marine and ask him for a favor (he will need to get permission for you to wear it); check E-Bay for people selling their old uniforms. You do not have a military ID card so going to the “uniform store” is out of the question –
with homeland defense as tight as it is these days – people will be guarded and ask questions – be prepared.
